Best anti-nausea/vomiting (anti-emetic) medicines after nissen fundoplication

I had nissen fundoplication 7 months ago.

I just had stomach flu including dry vomiting and diarrhea. I had metoclopramide to be taken orally, but this failed as I started to dry vomit when swallowing tablets. After a call to the doctor I got prescriptions on suppository (metoclopramide), this seemed to stop the nausea.

To be better prepared next time, I would like to ask what medicine do people prefer to stop vomiting?

i have, and used ondansetron, which is the generic zofran, with very good success.

+ on the Zofran - it is what I use; I need it about 1-2 per month.

Do you prefer zofran rectal, oral (as Melt or tablets)?

Oral/Melt tablets - works fast...for me.

Phenergan often will help me without the side effect of zofran (Constipation)

Do natal is back on the market, reformulated. Liquid and tablets.
Expensive but works for some who don't get relief from a ocean.

I use the Zofran tablets, no problems for me.
