Hi Guys and Girls.
I have been off PPi,s for 18 months now but not really winning to be honest, been on PPis, over 10 years prior. My main problem is belching reflux, I only seem to get reflux when I after belch also have positive peptests which is high pepsin in my saliva.
No ulcers, no hernias, been back to upper GI today after have another endoscopy which I hate. The problem being when I was on PPi,s it does not stop pepsin in my saliva which is a concern. In the UK they recommend Gaviscon advance for LPR as shown to work better than PPI,s.
The odd thing I noticed is Now I am not on PPI,s and was same on PPI,s when I eat my dinner I can belch and taste my dinner 8 , 9 , 10 hours after ......
It seems that causes part of the reflux as dinner still in stomach floating around.... any thoughts would be appreciated Thanks
