I am having a fundoplication on 10/17 & I am scared to death!!!! Any advice?

normal. i was to. i was a pretty tough fellow, and not afraid to admit, i cried several times. surgeons have gotten, pretty good with this surgery. its OK to be scared. just keep moving forward. good luck.

My surgery was on 10/10. I know exactly how you feel. Please come back and tell us how your doing afterwards. Good luck and stay positive.

If your surgeon is experienced then fear not. I guarantee you if your reflux is bad enough, then even the first days after the surgery will be a bliss compared to before.
