The Muse stapling procedure anyone?

has anyone had the stapling procedure done? I have hiattle and esophogitis and can not tolerate ppi. I an suffering from a bladder infection right now from protonex and the other 2 i tried mad me crazy trying homeopathic and QE work acupuncture....so far i am miserable with gerd all night and painful uti now. Almost out of my mind with pain.

I am having significant reflux after POEM for achalasia. How did the MUSE workout for you??

I will have to look up the MUSE stapling, must be a new procedure. I had a full Nissen Fundo 5 years ago this month. It has helped me tremendously; However, with anything, there are side effects; bloated belly, inability to burp almost completely, so ends up creating more gas etc. I still have gastritis, and I cannot handle prescription strength Pepcid.

I am trying some natural things now Pepzid GI, Slippery Elm, Fennel tea, and DGL caramel flavored chews. I have not taken the Pepzid GI yet. The verdict is still out on Slippery Elm, Fennel tea, and DGL.

I had barretts esophagus. Just had a scope. Found bad gastritis, but he said the Barretts looks much better. all biopsies came back negative, so that is good. Joycelyn Collins from University of Cincinnati Hospital did my surgery. Very good surgeon. Not sure if she is still there.
