Shoulder pain after nissan surgery

I've had the nissan fundoplication surgery 6 weeks ago and am still experiencing shoulder pain. Sometimes the pain is non-stop for hours. Has anyone else had it and how long has it lasted for you? My concern is a nerve was aggravated. Thanks for your help.

I had very bad left shoulder pain for three weeks straight after surgery. Contacted my doctor about it and had a CT scan to check the surgery area. Everything appeared fine on the scan but it the length of time was concerning to me and my doctor. It did diminish the fourth week and has been fine since. Call and get it looked at.

I had EndoStim and a hernia fix, and over 3 months later I still have on/off shoulder gas pain. My surgeon didn't seem worried about this at all, unfortunately with me anyhow it can take quite some time to go. The only thing that helped the pain was putting a bag of frozen veg on the shoulder for a few minutes

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I'll wait it out a bit since some of you also still have it the same amount of time as my post op. Sometimes it sticks around for hours and other times it just comes and gos whenever it feels like it. Very aggravating to say the least, but hopefully it will clear up. Right now that's my only real complaint, everything else seems to be doing pretty well after the nissan surgery.
