Ayoppp, I'm having the same problem. I've had it for 4 months now. I saw a doctor right away and was diagnosed with acid reflux. I was given a ppi as treatment but it made things far worse for me unfortunately (they work for other people). The ppi gave me delayed gastric emptying and now I get reflux from simply sipping water in the morning upon waking up. I had a barrium swallow and an endoscopy. I've been on the kaufman diet for two months with a little improvement. I live off of protein shakes, cereal with almond milk and homemade veggie soup with rice. Due to the delayed gastric emptying I can't eat much, and have lost 45 pounds in 4 months. I had to stop exercising, which used to give me joy, the most I can do is walk around the block. Any more and I just lose too much weight. I understand how you feel and how awful it is. I got an esophogeal mamontry test and a cat scan done last month, but I have to wait until Aug 24th to get my results for that back. A lot of times I feel hopeless, left out, and lonely. But I also try to keep busy, and try to focus on the things I can still do. I found out that this is a common problem and a lot of people are going through it. Everybody goes through a bad patch, and unfortunately it's just our turn. We will both get better and return to our normal lives.
