I have an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor about pain under my left breast around my rib cage. I cannot tell if it is a muscle, a bone, or my nissen fundoplication I had done November 2013. I do not recall any trama happening in this area. I did move my things from my old home to my new house a few weeks ago.
I have read a few topics posted here about a pain in this area shortly after surgery. What are your thoughts on the chances this could be surgery related? It hurts if I try to lift my left elbow higher than my ear. It is also starting to hurt slightly standing up completely straight. Maybe a mild hypochondriac, so I cannot take myself too seriously until I see my doctor. I am hoping it will heal by itself, but it has been two and a half weeks since I started feeling this pain, and it is only getting worse. I have been avoiding getting it looked at because I really do not want the medical bills. What are your thoughts?
Thank you!
