Hi All,

I had a Nissen Fundoplication around two years ago, which i shared with you all, and got some gracious support and advice: https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=45&m=3216089

A few months ago my problems have starting coming back. An endoscopy revealed that there is no longer any evidence that i have had the surgery, meaning that it likely has come undone.

Bill: i know that you have had some re-dos. Prior to finding out the fundo came undone, i have been having some aches at the surgery site? Is this from it becoming undone? It particularly aches when i swallow? Would be interested to know your experience.

Hi there,

That's a pity it has come undone. Could it be redone? And how many times is that possible?

I was wondering. I have read you had Ineffective Esophagus Motility. I'm suffering with that for 3 years. For me this means I have a lot of burping problems, sore throat, horseness, but since 4 weeks the heartburn are coming up. But is it possible to have the Nissen with IEM? This doesn't solve the IEM and will lead to a lot of bloating I would think? Or did your problems caused by IEM solve when you did the Nissen?
