Scratching Throat and Mucus Vocal Cord When Talking

Hiya,

Anyone have any advice on what this issue could be that I’ve had for around 5 months.

The issue is that whenever I speak, my throat (to the left of my Adam’s apple) instantly develops a scratchy feeling which gets worse and worse but goes as soon as I stop talking.

I also feel like I need to clear my throat all of the time also which usually produces a clear phlegm but doesn’t resolve my issue.

I’ve had 3 ENTs carry out 3 nasendoscopies (camera down my Nose into my voice box) and they have all said there’s nothing of concern there.

3 scopes did reveal MINOR irritation from acid around my vocal cords for which I was prescribed PPIs which haven’t done anything to help so far.

Hiya Sharon, not sure how to directly reply to you! Anyway, nope, don’t suffer from either of those. Also I’ll add that on the morning the issue is gone, it doesn’t come on until about 30 mins after I wake up
