Hi guys, hope you are all well, this is my 1st post on this fabulous site, honestly I had so many questions answered looking through some posts here, its awesome.
So, I had my Nissen Flop done 7 days ago, and here is where I am at.
day 2 in the hospital they had me try a chicken sandwich, which to my surprise went down quite well, i had to chew a long time though, but it went down with no problems.
At home, Im mostly eating jello, fruit, and soup with soft veg, carrots mainly, and small bits of tender chicken, and it all goes down with ease, except for this weird inner burbling, gurgling after each swallow, sounds like air entering my esophogus, this has started happening less now though, has anyone experienced this before?
Also, I can burp! not the gut burps from before, but small ones when gas builds up, is this normal? I heard you couldnt burp after the op?
I also had a small acid reflux incident too, had to take some pills for it, is this normal? I instantly freaked out about
this thinking my op had failed.
Overall, I feel great, no major pains, I feel optimistic, maybe a little too optimistic? I have an anxious feeling something is creeping up in me, should I be worried or just chill out and see what happens?
When can I have a glass of wine? haha.
Anyway, nice to be hear, and hi from Mexico
Gary.
