Shazba,
Has the nausea been there since day one of the surgery, or only at the 5 month mark?
I had a 360 Fundoplication 2 months ago. I have noticed a full feeling with pressure after I eat and even if I go too long between meals. I also get a sour taste in my mouth and salivate like I’m getting ready to be nauseas. I don’t get sick, but my chest burns like reflux or heartburn. Once I eat again or drink fluids it seems to subside and then the burning sensation in chest returns. My post-op barium swallow showed no reflux, so it’s possible the discomfort I’m feeling is due to the healing process? I never had to take nausea meds, but maybe it would be a good idea for you, if you don’t already take anything. You may also try and eat more frequently throughout the day. It may be hard to do while on the job, but it may help to keep your stomach busy digesting healthy foods and fluids throughout the day. Could it be anxiety and stress from getting back into work? I know I struggle with anxiety every time I pick up a fork to eat. I’m sure many in this thread have some of the same stressors.
Just My2Cents.
Blessings,
JD
