PPI and "Natural" remedies

I went to see a Naturopath and he gave me some homepathic remedies to take concurrently with the Pariet/Aciphex I'm currently taking. He said it is ok to take both at the same time. The remedies are Unda 9, 24 and 228.

Does anyone have any experiences with this? Should I stop taking the Pariet if I'm going to try the 'natural' medication?

My pain specialist once told me it was okay to take Prozac with St. John's Wort, and it isn't, so just because a doctor tells you something doesn't mean it is always true.  I would ask your pharmacist.  He should know and if he doesn't seems he could look that up for you. 

So much info now on meds and their relationship to supplements and homepathic remedies. 

I'm on Nexium 40 mg. and all I take are Tums if I need anything for GERD.  I also have to take Lortabs for the pain when I get it as it is the only thing that will help, but then I also have FMS (fibromyalgia).

I just consulted with a pharmacist and he says taking homeopathic (vs. herbal) remedies in conjunction with PPI is OK. I think I will start taking them tomorrow and will update on my progress.

Homeopathy has been very helpful to me in the past, with some severe allergies I had while living in another country. Give it a try, always watching your body and its language.
