Are you taking it several times a day?

Tucci, I have never taken that type of Maalox, or experienced any of those symptoms. But, on one occasion, I had taken some type of Antacid/Maalox and had a black tongue in the am upon awakening, read the bottle and it indicated that one could experience this. So, you know I threw out the entire bottle of that brand.

Maybe, check the side effects on the label.....Or, try a different brand.
