Pain in my left shoulder blade and shortness of breath...

For the past few days, I've had a really horrible pain in my left shoulder blade. It feels numb but also tingling at the same time. It feels like someone has stuck a pole through me. At first I thought I pulled my muscle but as it worsens, I'm starting to worry. I have shortness of breath and it hurts to lay down. I also have trouble breathing when I'm lying down. The only way to relieve some pain is to lean forward. I can't turn to my right without my left shoulder blade hurting. Does anyone know what this is? I think it might be Percarditis, but I'm not too sure. Please, if anyone knows what this might be, let me know. Thanks.

hi mitch, i have the same pain in my left arm and shoulder blade.mine is more of when i flex my arm a certain way it make my arm freeze with a sharp numbing and very intense burnning pain, as if i am being burning and stabed in the arm . im not sure if hours is the same, but i sawe a doctor about my pain and the doc says its due to an inflamed tendant in my arm. is yours sumwhat like mine ???
