Barrets asophigas

Hi,Does anyone have Barrets Asophigas?I have just been told i have it.Its precancerous. can anyone help me with this. Thank you, Tammy

There are a ton of people who have barrett's esophagus who don't get cancer. So I hope that helps you in some way! :)

Thank You Friendlygal,I had Breast cancer last year(chemo) and i think thats why the doctor is treating me different.They keep reminding me"you know you had breast cancer so we will keep an eye on this" Thank you for your reply. Tammy

Your welcome, possitive. I know that having barrett's must be very scary. I once thought that if I get it then I am doomed. But after reading many cases where people who got it didn't get the cancer, I want to try to stay positive. Because I have also been afraid of getting barret's esophagus.

You sound extremely brave. I really hope that everything turns out well. Keep us posted!
