After suffering 5 years factors that helped me on road to recovery... it took more than pills and also helps with IBS too.
1 NEXIUM
2.. KEEPING A DAILY DIARY OF FOOD INTAKE AND HOW YOU FEEL AFTER IT .
(its tiresome and seems obbsesive but keep at it for at least a month you will prob notice something before end of month ) THEN LOOK BACK AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY TRIGGER FOODS.
3. SLEEPING WITH BED TILTED UP AT 45 DEGREE ANGLE
4. STOPPED ALCOHOL COMPLETELY AND SMOKING
the pain of the gastric was bad enough i didnt even question stopping and used allen carrs book.
5 RELAXATION THERAPY CD ( coby zvikler )
kind of hypnosos for relaxation because i suffered from bad panic attacks through the gastric, it gave me such a fear of being sick i got into a vicious circle which was a vicious circle that had to be stopped.
6. NO EATING AFTER 8.30PM
I have been gastric and panic attack free for over a year now , no alcohol or smoking for 4 years.
MY trigger foods were anything with pips and seed like inside like strawberries and tomatoes. Bananas especially ripe ones the more ripe the worse it was, beef and white bread.
I wish everone one well and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
