after Colonoscopy

 I am new to this forum but I think someone out there may have an answer.  I had a Colonoscopy this morning and have not met with doctor to get any results, although the nurse said the blood trailing out still is from a hemmroid.  Is is common though, to feel totally sick to my stomach, have cramping and bloating, and most of all, I believe I should eat someting, but what?  Also, is it common to feel like you have a bowel movement coming even though there is nothing in my stomach.  Need answers , as I was planning to go back to  work tomorrow, having just taken a day off in advance. 

Feeling very yukky!

I'm from the MS board, but was reading here and found u'r question. I have recently been dx'd with GERD and Barrett's Esophagus, but prior to that had a colonoscopy (my second in five years) due to IBS probs. In my experience, i was asleep and felt nothing at all. I had no pain except this last time due to some biopsies that were taken, but still very minor pain only. U shouldn't be scared of this at all. U will likely not even realize u've been asleep when u awaken. I hope u will get a good and clear report for u'r test. Try not to worry. Honestly, the worst part was the prep..the drink u must have the night before to cleanse u'r colon. Take care and i hope to hear great news for u.
