Yes, I too only had sedation, not a general, and I am a control freak, but in this instance, I was fine giving up my control and leaving it in the professional's hands! With the sedation, I was still out of it, recall nothing, but when I woke up, I was not groggy or nauseated in the least.
You guys are mentioning the sleep apnea, is this common with you guys. I just began sleeping again about 4 nights ago, but had gone months without being able to fall asleep for hours, and then when I did, I would wake up every hour, or I would go two if I was lucky. I just went to my GP's yesterday after having booked the appt. while I was still not sleeping, and he gave me a prescription for some sleeping pills. Do you think I am now sleeping much better since I am on pills for my esophagitis, duodenitis, and GERD? I have been on them for about 2 weeks now, but admittedly never linked the two together. I thought I was just not sleeping because I was just not sleeping!
