Gerd + IBS-C

I have been reading the forum for the last few days and got some handy information from it.

The problem is i suffer from duel conditions and allergies to some foods. For the last 2 years i have have been to hospital once not being able to move properly my stomach was cramping so hard. Then i changed my diet and for around one and half years my ibs was settled until around 6 months ago when i started getting cramps more frequently. This then started to be offset with heartburn which would go away in a few hours. I decided to give the gastroenterologist that i saw in hospital a visit and got numerous tests done. Diagnosis ibs-c + gerd. In this time the ibs-c has settled with the use of Colofac but the GERD has gotten much worse after getting better for about 2 months. I have followed strict instructions on websites that tell you to avoid certain food types but it continues to plague me. The last two weeks i literally have had heart burn nearly all day, i am hoping it settles down in the next week otherwise im back to the gastroenterologist only 3 weeks after i last saw him (Its getting expensive). I am taking 40 mg of nexium day and night and liquid antacids on occasion but it just keeps occurring. Infact i would say the days i've taken antacids its got worse so i am avoiding them.

Has anyone else been in a situation where they have a form of IBS and Gerd at the same time? i would like to hear if anyone in the same situation has found a way to better manage this.

Just a bit about me
I am 23 years old, 145 lb and a very active person that eats healthy (Well as active as gerd/ibs allows me to be)
I am allergic to eggs, shellfish, fish, soy and tobacco.
