I'm new to the forum and I have been reading all the post about the Nissen procedure, and everyone has been very helpful.

I'm scheduled to have my surgery this Friday 7/18 and I was wondering realistically how long most of you took off work for recovery.  I only took a week off work, but I do have a job where I am mostly answering the phone and working on the computer.  I'm 31 and in decent shape so I'm hoping to heal quickly.  My main concern is fatigue from the lack of solid food.

Hi Scotty B...I had the surgery on 7/1 and returned to work on 7/7. I am doing light duty work like answer phones and a lot of desk work. I am not back to much of the labor work I usually do. I still am pretty tired at the end of the day and go to bed about an hour earlier than before having the surgery.
I hope all goes well for you and you have a speedy recovery.
