This is my first post, so I hope someone out there answers me. Has anyone tried a drug called hyomax for stomach spasms? My GERD is basically controllabe, but I had stomach pain that sent me to the ER, resulted in a gallbladder surgery, and it turns out I just had stones, no disease there, and its back to mild GERD ever since. I asked my doc for something in case I get an attack like the last one, and she prescribed hyomax. I haven't yet taken it, but wondered if anyone has had any experience with it.

HYOMAX (HYOSCYAMINE)

This medicine is an anticholinergic agent used to treat bladder or bowel spasms and in combination with other medicines to treat ulcers. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

I have never taken it but perhaps some other member has more information.
