Hi Bill-
Been a while I know. Things are much better with the ear and balance and life is finally getting to be fun. Energy is back I guess and weather got nice. I tell my wife that the body renovation is done and it's time to party. Like all renos, it's not fun but it sure makes you appreciate the benefits of all that pain. Onwards and upwards I say.
about others wanting info- I'm afraid I'm not going to be on here very much but I hope that this thread can act as a beacon for others. I remember reading reams of threads before all this and finding nothing about the process or any happy results. I was probably wrong or didn't find it but still- that was my intention- to leave something behind.
Our history should give hope to others and show the ups and downs as well. There's nothing worse than not being able to eat or sleep in my mind. It has to be fixed for a better quality of life. Having gone through it twice now- I'm still convinced that there is no alternative. You have to try.
Anyway- hope that your stone has passed and that the ribs are better. about Ben- I would say that you have to allow time for the body to heal. Going faster that the body wants will not help. I plead guilty there. At 58 years of age- it takes longer as well.
Once you start digesting better, the better sleep comes and everything gets easier and easier. Like going downhill instead of up- you go faster with less effort.
Anyway- nice to hear from you. It really helped to go through this process knowing we were many going through similar trials and tribulations at the same time. The sharing goes a long way when you're alone in your circle of friends going though anything like this.
Take care
Rick
