gastroparesis?

hi.

i had an endoscopy yesterday, since i haven't had an appetite in about a month. and was diagnosed with gastroparesis. My doctor said part of my stomach is paralyzed.

is this for life? or does it ever go away. i don't really know too much about it. all my doctor did was up my dosage of reglan and then said he'd see me in a few weeks to check up on it and to see if i need a colonoscopy.

also, he said to eat low-fat food. this probably sounds stupid, but what foods are low fat?
