I apologize if I have failed to respond to you. I haven't had the greatest memory or thought process lately. That isn't a very good excuse. I was thrilled everything worked out at the wedding. I also can empathize with the anemia. My wife dealt with it for 13 years and finally had to have a hysterectomy after all other treatments failed. I hope the treatments work out for you.

Anne,

I hope that you will use this as you own personal thread and share your story and your issues here where all the members can respond.

I have not had any surgery so I am like you, my GERD sx are nasty at times and along with them I have lots of other issues.

I felt down and left out once but it was my anxiety and depression kicking in when my sister was dying, and then my brother all back in April.

I know in my heart no one would purposefully ignore me so please know the members here are kind and caring and you are a member of this forum. Noone is setting out to ignore or harm you.

Please do talk to us here about your issues.

I too am happy the wedding was a huge success. Hold on to your memories.

Oakley - Please accept my apologies if you addressed something to me and I didn't respond. I truly don't mean to do that but I do admit in looking back over long past posts that I did miss a thing or two or not read it correctly. I tend to just skim over some posts if I don't have time to read them thoroughly. Anyhow I'm far from perfect and I'm sorry if I neglected something.

Congrats on the wedding. I have 2 daughters 15 and 5 (lol, nice span huh ) so I haven't reached that wedding thing yet. At this point I couldn't even imagine giving one of my girls away. They keep me going everyday with a lot of family issues as of the last couple years.

I hope you get the treatment you need to feel better.

If there is something you wanted to ask me Oakley please do so here and I will make it a point to respond

I just read your last post in the other thread and I will leave it there but I hope that you will start posting to us in this thread.

Anyone can join in and share however that does not necessarily mean that everyone will receive a comment. I have posted many times but to help and support not necessarily looking for a response from my sharing.  I have thousands of posts and trust me members will go right past mine and onto something else. I would have left a long time ago if not getting a response meant members did not support me.

That does not mean they have overlooked me, they are just reading through and posting what they choose whether it be to share or to support.

This forum has many more people who are having the surgery or have been through it so many threads are about that.

You and I and some others are in the miniority but that does not mean we are not valued members of this forum.  I am sorry if you let a post or a thread upset you. No one meant anything that was posted to cause you anxiety.

I hope you reconsider and stay with the group.

Also my email is open so if you want to talk privately, I am always willing to listen.

Hi Anne,

Again, I'm glad you had a successful wedding.  There is so much planning and preparation, and the day flies by.  Sorry if I've not responded to your posts.  It was not conscious.  I generally respond to posts with questions or comments about which I have personal experience or knowledge.  I don't believe that I've read the background you may have shared about what symptoms you're struggling with.

Lately, we've been pretty wrapped up (LOL) with helping Bill get through his struggle in the hospital--giving him as much long distance support and friendship as we could via the forum.  He has been going through a tremendous amount of pain and suffering--all with the typical "Bill" good humor and positive attitude.

Hope you continue to post here, and ask for support when you need it.  Have  good night. turn Denise
