Food getting stuck.

Does anyone feel this sensation that they they can't breath when the eat certain foods. Like they are getting stuck. My doctor did a endo and she said that I didn't have a stricture. It has happened to bad where I can't catch my breath.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Welcome to Healing Well! This is a very active forum with lots of supportive members. I'm sure you'll find someone who has experienced what you're experiencing. Being summer, there are some regular members on vacation, so we'll be coming and going. I haven't experienced what you're describing, but I'll bet someone has!

Unfortunately I have a lot of experience with your problem. Have they suggested doing a barium swallow test or a manometry test? Even if they don't see anything on the EGD it may show up during a barium swallow. The manometry would let them know if there is a muscle problem in your esophagus. Unfortunately so GI doctors aren't very thorough. My first one wasn't. He didn't do anything but an EGD and told me everything looked fine. I kept having reflux issues and food getting stuck so I switched doctors after 6 months of no answers.
