The Where in the World is Bill Column Part 3 0f 4

Bill, sorry you didn't sleep well. I know what that's like. I tend to do that too when I get a bunch of sleep at once even if I really needed it to catch up. Boy I found out what it's like to be in game day traffic. It is not fun. Apparently if you are wearing green and gold you can just walk out in traffic and they are magically supposed to stop for you. I'm not one to swear but I ended up swearing and my windows were open when people just tried to walk into the side of my car where there wasn't even a cross walk. My sister had to yell at some girls for trying to walk into the side of the car while texting. We ended up 3 blocks away because I wasn't going to pay $30 for parking to see my brother in laws band play. We paid $10 to park in a hardware store parking lot and my sister paid half so that wasn't bad. We only got to see half an hour of music as we were not given good directions and drove around in the crazy traffic. I felt sorry for the cops directing traffic. The foot traffic was the ones that caused all the trouble. One officer starting yelling stay on the side walk it will hurt when a car hits you. We had dinner at the restaurant in the bar he played at. It was really good. They had TV's every where so you could see the game. I hate foot ball so I could have cared less but my hubby was happy. It was kind of cool to hear the crowd yell at the stadium since we were right across the street. We left before the game was over because I did not want to drive in that traffic again. We went home and had a camp fire with my sister and her husband.

Wow, you had a busy day! I hate traffic like that. It's stressful, that's for sure. Glad you had a good time, though.

Thanks for the good wishes about our house. The inspector comes tomorrow morning at 8:30, so wish us luck. Our house is really well built. It's 40 years old, though, so there are bound to be a few little quirks.

Hi all-
I did something bad tonight. A few friends called and wanted me to come out and watch them race go carts. Well since I used to race dirt track cars I had to go watch. Yep you guessed it , I let them talk me into racing them. I won of course. Even used their so called "slower" cart to school them. And yes now the ribs are screaming. Of cousre all the pressure in the seat goes in the right side....the bad side. My daughter was super impressed though. She kept trying to get pictures, but said I was going by to fast for her phone to catch me. I'll take some pain to make my daughter proud of her ole man.She said she didn't know I could drive that fast. She was really young when I last raced. She had a huge grin from ear to ear when I got off the cart.
I batter not do that very often or I'll be buying another car soon. Then my wife will kill me!
