I have been sick since May, with contstant nausea, some vomiting and diarreha, and soreness, tenderness, and gnawing feeling in my upper abdomen. I also get hiccups and belching during the day. I went to a GI doctor, had an endoscopy, found a small hiatal hernia and gastritis. Went to another GI doctor who says I have dyspepsia, and gave me Buispar and Donperidome for motility, which didn't help anything. I called the GI who did the endoscopy and said I didn't appear to have motility issues because there would have been food in my system during the endoscopy. I asked for an ultrasound, which came back normal. The doctor insisted I had dyspepsia and wouldn't do a hidascan. I had another doctor order the hidascan, and the results were that my gallbladder is functioning at 18%. Does this sound familiar to anyone, and should I had the gallbladder surgery or ask for some other test?
