Hi Barb,
Sorry...I've never tried it. I wish I could help! I understand that you don't even want to put it in your stomach. We're definitely in the same boat. The only thing I can manage is Tylenol. If you do try it, I'll be interested in knowing how it goes.
I've had significant bone loss over the past two years, and my family doc wouldn't even consider giving me the oral drugs for osteoporosis. He wants me to research Reclast--an IV drug that is given once a year to build bone. I don't have osteoporosis yet--I'm diagnosed with osteopenia. I'm keeping my family doc when we move...it's just an hour away, and he's the only one who really knows my stomach.
Good luck with the Tramadol. It's probably worth a try if you think it'll help you. You'll know pretty quick if it bothers you. My stomach feels like *** the past two days. I don't know why, but it's miserable. I've given up tippy toeing around it...I'm sure I ate and drank things that weren't the best. Oh well, this too will pass.
When do you leave for your trip to see your new, sweet little grandbaby?
Have a great week,
Denise
