Dry mouth after surgery.Had nissen 2wks later and acid strtied coming up slightly.This bitter taste is horrible .Im told by my specialist its stress.A baruim meal showed no reflux.What should i do.Go to another specialist.Ive been seen by the mental health so they are sayin its in my head.What to do......

cowboy: get another doctor! trust me i had to go thru 3 doctors before they finally believed me and didn't misdiagnose me... first i was a heart patient issues, than i had mental issues, they tried throwing everything at me.. i found a great doctor, and boom everything is great now.. (well manageable lol).. surgery in a montha nd the meds help quite a bit... so see another and be patient, don't stress.. uv made it this far so u'll find ur answers soon enoug!!

I had the exact same thing that griff described happen to me. Exactly....heart , mental, every thing else before finding a Dr that helped me find a specialist, who helped me find a surgeon, who helped my find another surgeon that specialized in the Lap nissen fundo.

I agree on going to go find another DR. The swallow, for me, showd I had no hernia at all and the manomatry showd I had a 6 out of 14, which is normal range, LES pressure. The manometry won!!

my deciding factor was the mamtry and the bravo... barium showed acid reflux.. but my les is crap, and the bravo showed WAY too much acid and spasms.. ah crazy docs!:D
