hi i just want to say hi and that i am sorry for all who have heartburn  or GERD. i get heartburn and i hate it myself. every so often i have to take prilosec but luckily i havent had to in over six months. normally i get the burning in the throat, which i have now, chest flutters and palpations. man i had lots of tests to make sure it not my heart only to be told i have heartburn. i find if i am on any kind of birthcontrol, started feeling like this at 29, after three months of birth control my heartburn acts up. i know it is weird so i had my hubby neutered to fix that lol(love the humour). sometimes i even burp up what i eat and that is nasty to. so i just wanted to say i feel for you and good luck.

You will find great info in this forum and the members are warm, wonderful, caring and very supportive. 

I am sorry to hear you suffer from heartburn and regurge too.  It is not fun but if you read through some of the threads here you will see how remarkable the members are and those who have had surgery are always willing to share their daily recovery.

I'd contact a GI about that burping up and heart palps. Griff who posts on here gets those.

thanks. luckily the heart palps are very seldom, only when the heartburn is very bad do i get them or the birth control. the gi is a good thing if the rugurge starts up again. luckily it has calmed down to. but it is nice to know i am not alone in this
