insurance and GERD

Hi all,

For those who have had surgeries, did you have any problems with insurance? Was it all straightforward, or did you have to develop a bad esophagus (almost barrets), for the insurance company to pay for the surgery?

Anyone have any problems with their insurance companies?

So far no troubles for the beginnings of being testing. I've hadn't had any inkling of possible problems upcoming.

No problems for me. The doctors had all the information from testing and it was the right next step for me and the insurance company didn't have a problem with it.
