could this be GERD?

Hello all I am a regular in the Anxiety/panic forum but I decided to come here for help with my symptoms. I have been experiencing a feeling as if something is caught in my throught and some chest discomfort it sometimes feels like I'm not getting enough air in and I burp a lot when this is going on. Sometimes it just feels like there's this big burp that won't come out or like a tightness in my chest area. I know that some of these issues come with anxiety but I just wanted some input from you guys. I also noticed that I do have some mild heartburn sometimes and that acid that backs up when I burp sometimes. But nothing is more annoying or uncomfortable than the throat feeling and the feeling of not getting enough air it really scares me. Also I have palpitations and any heart problems have been ruled out as my ekgs, 2d Echo, blood work, and 24 hr holter monitor have all came back negative. Someone please help and tell me how to go about telling my doc about this because he has the tendency to blame it all on my anxiety while leaving me feeling like he thinks its all in my head.
