Hello everyone,
I'm new here to the group. I have GERD, too. I am on Protonix. It helps the reflux, but I still get chest pain almost every day. Although, I must admit that it has gotten "somewhat" better since I kicked my husband out of the house after serving him with divorce papers!!! LOL! I found out he was cheating on me. We were married for 30 years! Anyway, now I'm looking to ways to ease and get rid of the pains in my upper body. Does anyone get pain in the back between their shoulder blades? I also had my gallbladder removed a year and a half ago, so don't know if that has anything to do with the pain. Could it be from the GERD or the removal of my gallbladder? I didn't get the pain in my back until after I had my gallbladder removed. I had made an appointment to see a Gastroenterologist, but the weather got so bad here (snowstorm) that I had to cancel it. Then, I came across HealingWell.com, and so HERE I AM...Hope to enjoy our talks together and hope we can help each other here. Have a great day.
Hugs,
linsuwin
Linuwin, I started you a new thread so your question won't get lost in an old one.
Welcome to HW,
Gerd affects people differently. Some people get back pains from it (not sure why).
Your gallbladder affects your body in different ways, too. As soon as you can see your GI about
your issues.
Stick around we are a great support group.
