So I had my gallbladder removed in December. Have still been experiencing various symptoms that my doctor thinks may be due to acid reflux and a hiatal hernia. I'm seeing a GI doctor Tuesday about
these issues but lately I've had a new problem that I'm wondering if it could somehow be related to acid reflux.
Several weeks ago I consumed just one alcoholic beverage and ended up with a bad cramp in the center of my back immediately afterwards. Lasted about 15 minutes and then eased up. Since that time the upper portion of my back has ached off and on. Sometimes immediately after eating and sometimes hours later on an empty stomach. Feels like a slight muscle strain but I've done nothing to bother my back and the ache is not constant.
My other symptoms include: upper abdominal tenderness, burping, hiccups, slight nausea, and some chest discomfort at different times.
Wondering if the back pain is a symptom of some stomach issue, acid reflux, or muscle related. Any thoughts?
