I'm doing easy baking. I have my post op today. I took my strips off and my incisions look pretty good. The middle one doesn't look like it's matched up when they glued it. And I have a sore lump under one of them on the left. I will ask about that and these awful headaches. I have another cold! Now it's all in my head and throat. I just can't catch a break! Hopefully it's gone by Friday. Happy holidays!

Cold is still here. I guess it's a linger-er. The surgeon told me to stop the Aciphex which I did two days ago and boy does my stomach burn! How long do the rebound affects usually last? Nausea is still here too. One symptom I would have loved to get rid of. It sure was rough sitting in a house full of food over the holdiays and not being able to touch any of it. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

He made you stop cold turkey??!!!
You needed to wean off of it slowly. Skipping a day or two then spreading out the time between the doses.

He didn't say to wean off, just to stop taking it. I actually don't mind taking them as long as my stomach burning stops.

Please get back on them and wean off slowly. It will help you.
