Hi all,

Just wondering if many people have gained weight when on nexium, and if so have managed to lose it through exercise ?

Matt,

I am on Prilosec and it has not caused weight gain. Perhaps someone who is on Nexium will be along shortly to share info with you.

I did not gain any weight on Nexium but everyone reacts differently.

For me I gained weight with uncontrolled heartburn, because it felt better to keep something in my stomach. I lose weight when I am in less pain. Nexium helps lessen the pain.
