That was a great quote, I liked it alot and so true. Hope you keep talking with us here is the "everything" thread.
Denise, to the sweet person looking for a surgeon, I wanted to put down Laproscoplogist. Sick woman that I am ! I have to much time to come up with these little ditties. Glad you see you posted a link - applauds to you.
Joy, You not behaving yourself. I will have to come down and bring you a snowcone for your red face and puffiness.
Janice, I understand all about feeling tired all day and napping then bedtime comes and I am wide awake..............really not fun but do let your body guide you. Prayers are with you my friend.
For all, an FYI on my hubby. We saw the Rheumatogolist on Friday and he is very proactive re Crohn's and Arthritis. He made the comment that over the 34 years my hubby has had Crohn's nobody ever treated him proactively but chased fires when he had flare ups and needed surgery. He feels the physicians treating him have not done him justice. The Dr. believes the bad inflammation in the foot was all tied together with his Crohn's. Finally a Dr. that wants to prevent instead of putting out fires after hubby is in dire straights.
Only tough thing is we have agreed to the Methotrexate ( Chemo Drug) to be given once a week by injection. I will be given the shots. He will have to have close monitoring of his labs. I am glad we are going to be more agressive. Hubby is done to 142 lbs and for his height and frame he should be at 10- 180 lbs.
So we keep moving forward.
As always you have all been so very suppotive so thank you and know I appreciate and love each of you.
Gentle Hugs,
Kitt
