Having problems after surgery for a hiatial hernia and nissen wrap

Even though this posting is way over a year old and the OP never came back here again to reply I am going to reply to you all.

Remember the OP had a huge hiatal hernia with her stomach mostly up in her chest. This is no way the same as the regular GERD person having a nominal hernia repaired and a wrap. The recovery from the surgery she had can be worse and longer than a normal nissen.
