Real Let Down!

I am sorry this has happened to you and I do understand it.  I went to a neurologist on Friday and he had no idea why I was there - He said " So you here for a hand tremor ?"  NO - I was there for a mild/moderate stroke.  He asked if I brought any forms with me - NOPE, again nobody provided me any forms.

His attitude was rude and he has a real " god complex".  Will I go back to him, Never.

I am glad you made a formal complaint and I will be reporting this Dr. to the insurance company as I am sure they will be charged much more then was delivered to the patient - ME !

Unfortunately doctors don't have the same level of concern over our physical problems as we do. It can be maddening I know, when they drop the ball.

I remember waiting for a 24hr PH monitor probe to be put it. I was off PPI's for two weeks, and was ready to go in that day for the test. As those who've had that test know, being off ppi's is not fun, and I had dealt with painful reflux as I waited for the test.

They called that morning and said they couldn't do the test, as they didn't have measurements, and would have to do a manometry first. Of course manometries don't require being off PPI's...they rescheduled the PH monitor for weeks later.

The other pet peeve I have is how long it often takes to get results from tests anyway! Even when they have their "ducks in a row" and are ready for you, they're likely to schedule follow up appointments weeks or months after the test!

I hope you get things straightened out soon.
