Hi guys,

i have been reading through posts, it seems alot of people here get wrapped.

I was wondering is the TIF Procedure better since its incision-less?

Is wrapping basically the last resort of GERD Treatment?

You have the LINX device which is a magnet bracelet that goes around your LES (lower esophageal sphicter) and theres also radiofrequency technology such as the Stretta procedure.

the TIF is for people who fit a special critieria. The hiatial hernia must be no bigger than 2cm and you must not have any motility problems. It's so new in the US that very few surgeons are experience in it.
The Linx is still in trials right now and they are not sure when it will be approved in the US.

Yes, wrapping is the last resort if medicine can't help.
