I had the endoscopy this morning and although the report said normal fundus of stomach, body of stomach, antrum, pyloris, duodenal bulb, and proximal duodendum, it said I have a small sliding hiatal hernia and mild irregularity of the Z line. Several biopsies of this irregular area were taken and results are to follow. It sounds to me like I either have Barretts or are borderline. Is anyone familiar with this diagnosis of irregular Z line?
I am also researching TIF (Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication)...anyone had this procedure? I would be very interested in learning details from someone who has had this surgery. Regards,
Brian
