Hey All,
I have been dealing with some pretty bad pain/pressure in my chest and left side lately and notice it gets really bad after I eat..Has anyone else noticed that after you eat your heart rate increases?? Also if I sit down and try to eat it feels like the food is getting backed up in my upper stomach lower chest area. I actually feel better standing up and eating!! Kind of emabarassing when you are going out to a restaurant and have to stand up in order to digest your food.
Also I was suppose to go in for an endoscopy the end of july but my dr cancelled because of a family emergency and I've been dealing with other issues so I haven't had a chance to re-schedule. I've also been getting extremely bad neck pain and spine pain which have become a lot worse over the course of month and am currently waiting on getting an mri.
I've also been experiencing extremely bad dizziness and it always seems to be worse within an hour of eating or right after I eat. I am currently taking Zantac 150 mg but my gi dr wants to scope me before he gives me a ppi. So OTC meds are all I have right now. Im trying not to take my prescription strength naproxen because of all of gi issues. So it's like do I deal with the neck/spine pain or do I deal with the bad upper stomach pain?? It's extremely frustrating.
One last thing does anyone else feel like they get a shot of adrenaline/feel shaky shortly after eating?? This is something I've noticed and it makes me feel sicker.. It doesn't matter what I eat but after I eat something it could be a cracker it's like my body doesn't know how to process it and and the bloating pain/pressure shaky thing starts.. I have been tested for diabetes and it was negative but I do have a high urine cortisol count and am currently waiting to see an endocrinologist. Any advice/comment would be wonderful Thank you
