Question about ph in foods

I am starting the 2 week diet from the dropping acid book today.  Does anyone know if the liquid flavored stevia is ok to use in water.  I use a few drops in my water because I will not drink as much water as I need if it is plain.  How would I find out the PH of the stevia?

I tested my tap water and filtered water using a pH testing kit which I bought from a garden centre - the sort used to test pond water! It might not go low enough to give you a precise pH if below 5.0 but it would probably give you a clear enough indication of whether it was acidic or near enough to neutral to be OK. The kits are simple to use. I discovered my Brita filtered water was actually turning my neutral tap water quite acidic - I no longer filter the water!

There is a wide selection of pH meters available from Amazon.com. I just purchased the one sold for beer-making after reading reviews. I also purchased storage solution and calibrating solution, which I believe are needed. All of this arrived while I was on vacation, so I haven't used it yet.
