Hi, Barb...the bravo endoscopy is new. When they do the scope, they place a chip in you that monitors the acid in your system. The old way is to put a plastic strip in your esphagus and then remove it. Anyway with the new way the chip disappears and you wear a monitor. It is supposed to be gentler on you and you just return the monitor (probably to the hospital).
Thanks for rooting for me. I am also very happy to say that I did not have a sore or ulcer, he thinks it was probably a broken blood vessel. (That was probably from coughing with the asthma and all the yuk you get up). I had two nights with no reflux meds and feel fine.
I am very glad your son is back too and hope he does not get called up again. I remember the tragedy of VietNam too.
