As some of you will know I had my nissen wrap and hh repaired in august this year. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who replied to me, or who might have thought I was nuts but was kind enough not to say! I have never joined an online site before and this has really got me through a lot of tough times.

To those facing an op, or any kind of investigative treatment for these conditions hang in there, its hard but people here understand. For those where surgery is an option my life is so very much better now, four or five months on I can lie flat, lie on the floor and play with my 2.5 year old daughter and eat pretty much what I like, in moderation. Still cant do beer but there is a lot of wine in the world!

Most of all a massive thank you to those good souls who are loyal to this forum, esp Denise and Bill, you have both been very very kind and you both made a massive difference in my life.

Thank you so much for your kind words.  Like you, I came to this forum with many questions and fears, and others who came before me offered caring support and encouragement. 

I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well.  I know how hard the recovery was, and it's good to have you back to let us know that you're enjoying life again!  There are several members here in the early days and weeks of recovery, and I'm sure they'll be glad to hear from someone who's been there, done that, and came out the other side unscathed!
