Duodenal Ulcer/Erosion with Hpylori Negative

Had endoscopy this past week with a Bravo put in. Doctor was surpised to find a single ucler in Duodenum and erosions there as well. I had been on Nexium for about 2 months leading up to this test. I was off all PPI/H2 for about 2 weeks prior to test. Is it possible to get an ulcer/erosions in a two week span ? H pylori tested negative. Can Nexium cause this kind of irritation ??

I don't think Nexium can actually cause erosion. But, your stomach acid will open that sore up real quick, mine comes back within a week of no PPI.
I am in same boat being Pylori negative and ulcer symptoms going on 3 months. Do you have anxiety? Or smoke? I am worried because every thing I read says Ulcer is caused by either Pylori or NSAID. Neither here.....How bad is the scope? Doc wants me to get one but am not feeling so hot about it. These darn PPI's make me ill but if I don't take them that duodenal burning comes back within a week. If PPI treat the burning pain it must be an ulcer I have right?
