Dear Casey,Welcome to Healing Well! First, please don't write your posts in all caps...in internet-speak it means shouting. It's also extremely difficult to read. I'm glad you've joined us!
No, a "crook" is not at all normal, and if you didn't have it before surgery, it's obviously something that occured as a result of it. Bill, a moderator here, had a problem with his first wrap (it was at a 90 angle) and it interfered greatly in his eating. Here's the link to his thread describing his experience:

It may not relate well to your experience, but it's an example of how an error can create problems with eating, etc.
It sounds as if you're going to need to search out another surgeon to evaluate your situation. I would not seek help from the surgeon who did your procedure, as you've ended up with a problem. Do you live anywhere near a medical center (like Cleveland Clinic, Mayo, Johns Hopkins, etc.)? Generally those places have a lot of experience with problems, and will be more likely to have the knowledge and expertise to help you.
If you live in at least a moderately sized city, you may have a Nissen specialist who can give you a second opinion. You will want to talk to someone who has had a tremendous amount of experience with this procedure and is skilled at redos if that's what you end up needing.
I'm sure others will be by to offer their opinions and support. I may have read your post wrong, and if I'm off track, if you can explain yourself further, I'll try to do a better job of responding!
Very best wishes,
Denise
