Nott sure if this is called Heartburn or Acid Reflux??

When I lay down at night on my sides I get pain in the Sternum area and when I turn over in bed I feel sickness coming up, I am burping more often as well.

My doctor has put me on Lansoprazole (have been on these for 6 weeks)

This whole thing has given me very high levels of anxiety and I feel tense all day when I am at work.

I told my doctor there is no change since I started the PPI but she just said she thinks it may be Gastritis or a Hiatus Hernia not much help to me.

But this has all made me so anxious I feel tensed up all the time with the worry.

Not sure if I should try Gaviscon as well?
