Hey Maximum,
23 into your esophagus or throat? Dr. Koufman told me one episode of reflux into the throat is considered to be abnormal. Also, what were you refluxing (acid, non-acid, gas, etc.)?
When my flare-up began, I had post-nasal drip, throat clearing, excessive mucus/globus/pnd, chronic cough, lots of thick and sticky saliva, non-stop belching, and a burning sensation in my nasopharynx cavity every morning upon waking. I also had my first and major flare-up in 2009, in which I also experienced food sticking in my throat.
Since you didn't respond to PPI's, I wonder if you have ever been tested for neuropathy, as sometimes burning is one of the only symptoms of this.
Thank you for the warm wishes, I also wish you a fast and speedy recovery.
