A very strange sensation, is it GERD?

Hello.

My name is Miguel, I´m spanish, I want to ask you one question because I´m afraid.

Can you tell me if this could be GERD?: I feel this strange sensation: a hot thing climbing from my stomach, a cold in the chest and a great pain in my throat, after that I feel a shiver on my body, like a paresthesia. Sometimes is a cold sensation in the chest, and sometimes a hot sensation in the chest.

Anyone have feel this sensation or something similar?.

I went to a doctor and he ordered me a gastroscopy who shows Helicobacter Pylori infection. He ordered a blood test also and everything was normal. I´m on prevacid now, but the strange symtoms persist. I want to ask you if this kind of symtoms could be GERD because I think that this kind of shiver or paresthesia are very rares.

I'm desperate.

Pylori ?  H. pylori infections are usually treated with two varieties of antibiotics at once, to help prevent the bacteria from developing a resistance to one particular antibiotic. It appears your Dr. did prescribe an  acid suppression drug, to help your stomach lining heal.

Yes, my doctor prescribe me OCA therapy: Omeprazole, Clarithromycin and Amoxiciline.

Yes, they remove me 3 samples of my stomach tissue, this confirmered the diagnostic of HP infection.

Hi,
I have the same cold hot feelings in my chest and stomach. Its scary. I don't have HP, just gastritis and esophagitis per my GI.
I'm currently taking aciphex, carafate, gaviscon, rennies, and on a strict diet. I did not have the cold feeling for a while, but I had some yogurt two days ago and since then I get the cold feeling after everything I eat, and then the burning starts.
Let me know if you found some trigger foods, and what are you eating. I'm desperate I lost 25 pounds, I'm now 100p and I don't want to loose any more.
